Aqua Art inks are archivable, water based inks for fine art and poster printing. These are actual screen printing inks, not fabric inks or acrylic paints and are made specifically for screen printing. The inks have high light fast pigments and none yellowing bases. The ink range is free from any heavy metals and is completely safe to use.

Aqua art is a versatile, high performance user friendly, gelled, water based ink system. These screen stable, high definition inks can be printed on most type of screen presses. In STD gloss or matt with the addition of an additive, all types of finish can be achieved.

The Aqua Art ink system is solvent free and has low odour.

SUBSTRATES
Paper, Display Board, Corrugated Board, Fine Art Papers. (Weights more than 120gsm)

MESH
79-140 Polyester mesh for most applications

PRINTING
Aqua Art ink may be thinned to achieve proper ink flow
Thoroughly mix the ink prior to printing.
Maintain ink temperature at 65-90F (18-32C) for optimum print performance. Lower temperatures increase the ink viscosity, impairing flow. Elevated temperatures lower the ink viscosity, reducing print definition, film thickness and opacity.

DRYING
Aqua Art ink dries by evaporation in 20-30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
Jet dry at 66 77 C for approximately 30-45 seconds using maximum air flow through the oven. Adequate cooling may be necessary to avoid blocking problems when stacked.

Flat Fox inks for paper and card

Flat fox inks for paper and card are so reliable, they are gorgeously thick and lush, vibrant colours. You can almost feel the ink when it is dry. Also Robin is super helpful and gives really excellent and honest advice which is better than I got at any of the art schools I attended!!
